For an project in arts & technology we are looking for students of media informatics to collaborate in a final thesis work of a student of media, art and design at HBKsaar:

The concept of this final project focuses on the value of communication and sharing the experience of "now" and "here". At a time when opportunities for physical sharing are diminishing, it explores the importance of sharing the same time and place and reflects on the impact of digital technology and societal changes on this sharing.
The work aims to give participants the opportunity to recognize anew the wonders of sharing "now" and "here".

We are looking for technology enthusiast to work in one or more of these disciplines:

• creating 3D models from photos of the real world in real time (with e.g. gaussian splatting)
• dynamically constructing 3D scenes from these models 
• creating an on-site multi-user experience for VR headsets with user-tracking
